An Overview of the New Honda Odyssey

Honda is one of the biggest automobile manufacturers across the globe. Since being founded in 1948, it has manufactured several vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and minivans. One of its more popular models, especially in urban areas, is the Honda Odyssey, which was launched in 1994 and since then has had multiple redesigns and upgrades. Its latest model comes with minor improvements that minivan buyers must explore before making a purchase decision.

An Overview of the New Honda Odyssey

Overview
The new 2023 Honda Odyssey provides users with a great minivan experience. The vehicle focuses on providing us with an excellent riding experience, top-notch handling, and even fast acceleration. Not to mention, minivans are all about practicality, and the Honda Odyssey embodies this virtue. It offers a magic seat system where you can adjust the position of the seats in the second row in various ways. There is more to be said about the kind of storage and cabin space offered by this minivan. The new 2023 Honda Odyssey also offers great infotainment systems and connectivity.

New features
For the last couple of years, the design of the standard Odyssey trims has stayed the same. There have been upgrades in terms of infotainment and other features. The 2023 model is also the same. Most of the variants stay pretty much the same, except for an additional Sports trim. The sport model has joined the lineup and comes with elegant black accents on the exteriors, powerful and unique wheels as large as 19 inches, and luxurious black leather interiors complete with red stitching.

The new trim also comes with ambient lighting for the interiors. Another new feature that comes with the new 2023 Honda Odyssey is the complimentary maintenance that is offered along with all the models. This includes oil changes and maintenance offered by dealerships for the first two years or the first 24,000 miles of ownership. Another massive change with the 2023 model is that the base LX trim has been removed from the lineup.

Engine and performance
The standard trim of the minivan comes with 280 horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 direct-injected engine. This is connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission that also has idle-stop technology. It also has a touch electronic gear system that allows for a smooth transition. The minivan is powerful and does a fantastic job at quick acceleration.

Not to mention, there is the component of fuel efficiency that the 2023 Honda Odyssey offers. The vehicle also provides good steering capabilities, making the change of direction crisp and easy, especially on tough terrains and narrow roads. Although the steering is direct and easy on the effort, there is some form of feedback to the expected for the Odyssey.

Interiors and storage
In terms of interiors, the Honda Odyssey does not fail. It is spacious, roomy, and, as mentioned before, allows you to change the position of the seats to make it to what suits your needs. The second-row seats of this minivan are very comfortable and can slide both side-to-side and front-to-back. This means you can configure seats however you want to make as much space as possible.

Minivans are mainly used to transport passengers from one place to the other. Not to mention, they are most suited for a modern family. Keeping this in mind, Honda also offers you additional features such as an in-cabin camera so you can keep an eye on the children on the second and third-row seats without taking your eyes off the road. The vehicle also has a lot to offer in terms of storage space. You can move your seats in the second and third row to make space for precious cargo. The only downside is that the seats can be difficult or heavy to move.

The New 2023 Honda Odyssey also offers lots in the infotainment areas. It has an 8.0-inch screen and allows connectivity via Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
