Battery powered chainsaw also referred to as a cordless chainsaw, is operated by using rechargeable batteries. It only works till the battery lasts, but it does not require to continue plug-in and regular maintenance like the other two types. Battery powered chainsaws are designed for a lighter task like trimming, limbing and cutting small trees as they are less powerful than the other two types. It is expensive than the other two, they have a price from $200 to $400.

Manual chainsaw
Manual chainsaw is also known as a hand-powered chainsaw, which does not require fuel or electricity to run. They do not produce noise, but they require efforts. Manual chainsaw is highly portable and faster, they require nylon webbing, a hacksaw, a nylon string to make it convenient for use. This chainsaw is cheaper than other types of chainsaws.
