Home Remedies to Get Blemish-free Skin
Blemishes on your skin could be in the form of skin discoloration or dark spots. They are usually the result of acne breakouts. Excessive oily skin secretes extra sebum, which get mixes with dead skin cells, thereby resulting in clogged pores. Extremely dry skin can also cause blemishes as it leads to flakiness, itchiness and redness. In addition, hormonal imbalances during pregnancy, menstruation and menopause are causes of skin blemishes.
Aloe vera
It is a rich source of polysaccharides that stimulates the growth of new skin cells. It also has inflammatory properties that has a soothing effect on the skin. Hence it is excellent for dry as well as oily skin. All you have to do is scoop some gel from a fresh aloe leaf and generously apply all over your face. Leave it until dry and rinse it with cool water. Repeat it often for a blemish-free skin.

Tomatoes
They are not only rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C but also act as astringents. They contain Lycopene, which reduces sun tan. Take a small amount of tomato pulp and massage into the skin for about 15 minutes. Then rinse with cool water. Again, this treatment is not meant for dry-skinned people.
Cocoa butter

Oatmeal
It contains Sapopins, which is a rich source of antioxidants and is anti-inflammatory. It boosts skin hydration and helps clean clogged pores. Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, add ½ teaspoon honey and little rose water. Make it into a paste. Apply all over your face, leave it for 10 minutes, and rinse with warm water.
Yogurt mask
It is rich in lactic acid, which effectively lightens blemishes. Take some fresh yogurt, and add little gram flour to it. Apply all over your face. Leave for 10 minutes and wash it with water. Repeat 2 to 3 times a week.
Apart from the topical application of the aforementioned packs, a healthy routine in the form of good diet, exercise, plenty of water and skin care goes a long way.
