Non-infectious rashes are psoriasis, hives, dry skin, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, to name a few. These rashes are primarily treated with prescribed drugs and skin lotions, creams, and gels. Non-infectious rashes may or may not be contagious but even a non-contagious skin irritation or rash can cause uneasiness and discomfort.

Treatments for rashes
One of the basic treatment of rashes is to follow cleanse the skin on a regular basis. It is also helpful if the person has a cold water bath, which helps to cool the itchy area. Also, using gentle soaps that are prescribed by your dermatologists can be helpful apart from the oral medications. Wearing cotton clothes can also help as these do not irritate the skin any further. If a person is already having a skin rash, then it is better to avoid scratching as much as possible as scratching may spread the infection to other parts of the skin too. Dermatologists might also recommend the anti-fungal food, which needs to be consumed only after prescription. By avoiding the intake of eggs, nuts, fish, etc., you might be aloof from skin rashes but there are some people who might also be allergic to other fruits, vegetables, and nuts, which cause skin rashes. So, proper skin rash identification and getting treated from a skin specialist is a must.
