The latest Maruti Suzuki Swift is the fourth-generation car of the most popular hatchback. Compared to the previous lineup, the latest Swift is equipped with a new engine under the hood. This is a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine capable of 80bhp and 112Nm of torque. Plus, there are transmission options with a six-speed manual unit and an AMT unit.

Exterior
The new Swift has upgraded bumpers with a new design with the latest LED DRLs and projector headlamp technology. In addition, there is a new gloss black front grille with LED fog lights and new LED tail lights. Besides this, the wheels are made with 15-inch diamond-cut alloy.

The latest Swift variant is now available in two additional colours compared to the earlier lineup. These include Novel Orange and Luster Blue. Safety
In the safety category, the Swift now has six airbags, brake assist, three-point seatbelts with reminders for all seats, and a reverse parking camera and sensors. All variants are also equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounts, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, and hill-hold assist as part of the driver assist features.

Interior
Along with the exterior, the interiors of the Swift have also been updated quite significantly. For example, the new dashboard now has an elegant Piano Black treatment with inserts made of Satin Matte Silver. Besides this, the instrument console has asymmetric dials with a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen system as well as cruise control.
