Trims in the Ford Escape series

While the standard engine is available on this trim, it also has the option of upgrading to the turbo-V4 engine that generates a hp of about 245. One of the other standard features, in addition to all other features that are available in the lower trims, includes the 10-speaker Sony audio system. At an additional cost, the buyer has the option to install lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with pre-collision braking, automatic parking, and a heated steering wheel.

The overall fuel efficiency on this series was estimated to be 20-23 mpg in the city and around 27-30 mpg on the highway. The Ford Escape is also a winner of the safety crash tests due to its technologically-advanced safety measures.
